Hello all, I want to ask that some clients asking me to talk with him/her on whatsapp number for further discussing of the given project, Is this allow to talk with him/ her on whatsapp? Provide me proper details of his, some clients asking for gmail and some for skype video call, I am new that's why I wanted to know about this in brief

It is allowed.

All payments must go through Upwork.

You may use any tools you want to for communicating with clients or prospective clients who have replied to your job proposal.

UPDATE:
On June 26, 2020 this policy was changed. Now ALL FORMS of communication are allowed after an official Upwork contract is in place. But until then, all communication must be done using the Upwork platform.
