How can I hired by Upwork?

Want to be hired by Upwork for the position of Forum Moderator or as a virtual assistant. My question is how can I get hired? I think if somebody who is already working at Upwork will introduce me with the Upwork team only then I can get such a job.. 

So, if you (Upwork official) are reading this post, please help me.
