How to land a remote IT Support contract from a country where companies aren't part of Upwork?

I'm a desktop and network support engineer living in a country where there are few (or almost none) companies working with upwork and I've realized that most of the Remote IT Support/Helpdesk Jobs on Upwork require the freelancer to be located around the client's country or city (this is common for IT Support projects).

How to overcome this issue and stand some high chances to get hired on the platform?

I understand your pain point what i will say is setup a complete profile with a great overview. then learn the act of proposal writing there is a client out there that will need your service just make sure you are consitent and don't give up
