Getting paid as an agency through a freelancer account

Hi,

I currently have a freelancer account on Upwork,

I am also in the process of creating my own Company/SEO Agency,

my question is can I use my freelancer account but get paid through my company ? Or do I have to create an agency account in order to be able to be paid through my business ? And if I chose to switch to an agency account, would my stats be kept the same, or would this action reset my stats ? Also, what about the contracts that I am currently working on ?

Thank you for reaching out to us. Let me help you with your queries.

1. Your freelancer and agency profiles are two separate entities within the same account. You will not get paid on your agency profile for contracts that were acquired on your freelancer profile and vice versa.

2. Creating an agency profile will not reset your freelancer JSS.

3. Creating an agency profile will not affect your current contracts.
