Learning about agency

Hi,

I know I am not the first one to bring this up, but I just formed an agency and am learning how it works. Right now I have one other person in my agency am non-exclusive. I currently have one active contract which I started before adding the other person. From what I read, I cannot set my agency to exclusive because I have an active contract (which I started before adding the other person). Also when non-exclusive I cannot share work between freelancers in my agency, but can this be done as exclusive?
