Unable to close agency profile

Hi there,

I want to close an agency account, I make it by mistake. Now when I click on close my agency, it shows contact your customer support.

Because of this, I am also unable to send proposals from a freelancer account. Kindly resolve this issue Asap

Hi Ali,

It seems that the reason why you can't close your agency is that you've set yourself as an exclusive agency member. You will have to set it as non-exclusive to be able to close it. To do this, go to Settings> Members & Permissions from your agency profile and click the word "Exclusive" that's beside your name. If you're still unable to close your agency on your own after doing this, please let us know and we will assist you further.

Actually I created it out of curiosity. But now in my profile it's showing me as an agency member. So I want to close the agency. Whenever I tried to close it, It tells me to contact customer support.

Only the agency owner can close the agency.

a) To prepare the agency for closing, you must

1. Remove all team members from the agency in Settings › Members & Permissions
2. Close all open contracts associated with the agency in My Jobs › Contracts
3. Close all open proposals associated with the agency in Find Work › Proposals
4. Ensure all payments have been received and withdrawn from Upwork

b) Then, you can close the agency

1. Go to Settings › Agency Profile
2. Scroll to the bottom of the page
3. Click the Close my Agency link
4. If you meet the requirements, click the button to confirm that you want to close your agency

I created a new agency for test purpose. Now I want to close it. When I click on close my agency it shows a message to contact customer support.
