W-9 Form Requested by Upwork

Hi 

Upwork has requested me to submit W-9 Form, but when I arrived the tax information I didn't see any form. 

Please advise.

Hi Man Choy,

Thank you for your message. You should file a Form W-9 with Upwork only if you are a U.S person. You should file a Form W-8BEN if you’re not a U.S. taxpayer.

The problem is I can't get paid until I submit W-9, please advise.

Hi Man,

Thank you for your message. I checked and it looks like you are referring to fund withdrawal on your agency account. I see that your agency is registered with the address from the U.S and in that case, you will need to update the W9 form from the Settings page after switching to the agency account.

Thanks Pradeep. 

I was just testing on the address, I didn't expect this would trigger W9 form submission. I have removed the US address, the withdrawal works again.
