Hi,

i started my agency on upwork and now i wanted to upgrade it. so, created a paypal account via my email and added money in it. now, when i am adding the billing method, it asks for credit card number. why so? I want to pay via paypal. how do i change that?

Hi Arooj,

In order to use Paypal as a billing method on Upwork, your Paypal account must have a linked credit or debit card for recurring payments (for example, for membership fees). For cases like this, a funding source is required to add Paypal as a billing method.

But what if my PayPal already has enough funds? Th3 whole point of purchasing PayPal was to get rid of adding my card details

Please note that only verified PayPal accounts can be used to purchase Connects. Please check the options available to you and learn more about acceptable billing methods.
