In general, direct to local bank payments take up to four business days to arrive at your bank. There is a 12:00pm (noon) UTC cutoff time for same-day processing. After that, transfers will be processed the following business day. Bank holidays in the U.S. or your country can delay your funds.

Hi guys, from your experience, what fastest and cost efficient method to get paid as a jamaican? Is it best to just use payoneer or send directly my jamaican account?

Use Payoneer and set up your local bank account on Payoneer. Once you
receive your pay in your Payoneer account you transfer to your bank
account. It takes 24-48 hrs normally to reach your bank. I use NCB and it
normally takes that time. Weekends don't count though. Payoneer also gives
you the highest exchange rate to local Jamaican banks. N.B. you can only
set up a JMD local account on Payoneer. Do not try sending to an account in
any other currency.
