And I, sincerely, wish you the best of luck.

But ..., it will cost you to find a better market than this.

This is pure greed madam. Im new i have tried consumed my all connects just to get my first project. If you wanted " freelancers to submit fewer proposals" you could have decreased the free connects but instead instantly i saw you have to pay or even if you have to pay for connects you could have set price and give the same connects as free if i buy 10 give me 10 free.

Why i have to pay for getting nothing or even just for trying why dont charge clients this is clearly greed ill try alternates now.

And they are.... 181 pages of the same thing over and over again!

Faizan, have you bothered to read at least part of this thread?
What you say has been said (with different versions) untill to boredom and, sorry to tell you, it will not change.

Maybe repition is what is needed in the face of these absolutely non-responsive, indifferent decision makers at Upwork.  I don't think anyone fair-minded faulted the antislavery movement, the Civil Rights agitators, or the suffragettes for being too persistent.  The problem isn't freelancers complaining, it's Upwork ignoring them and doing nothing and coninually making changes that chip away at freelancer's ability to earn money and thei dignity.  How about the gurus consider that before the next time they attack a freelancer?  Oh, wait, maybe that's why you're here...

Your simile seems absurd to me
I am not attacking anyone. I am only exposing a reality that, it would be better for so many companions to assume finally and concentrate on doing their best work.
By the way, I tell you this also directly.
I do not understand that you continue in this posture, after such a lot of post.

Guru is nothing, I am nothing, I just try to help. Sometimes already bored of always hearing the same.

I'm sorry if it offends you.

Apologies, but I fing it absurd that freelancers who happen be in the extremely tiny minorty of those experiencing smooth, uninterrupted sailing on this platform to push back against freelancers suffering under the abusive and non-transparent policies of Upwork rather than express solidarity with fellow workers at the mercy of a platorm that has been (almost?) completely non-responsive to overall top freelancer concerns for years.  "Sorry you had a bad experience but instead of complaining here, just work harder to improve your score" is pretty **bleep** insulting and myopic as far as responses go, even if well-intentioned.

Well, Brian - No one is forcing any freelancer to try and work on Upwork. They are always free to find another platform. What do you find abusive about Upwork? I think Upwork is a great place for many freelancers.

Upwork is not a charity. If you don't like it, spend your money somewhere else. Upwork cannot prevent "freelancers" from behaving like addicted gamblers, who pay for chips and  chuck them down profligately in the hopes of hitting the jackpot. And in a way it is a gamble. There are millions of signed-up freelancers after well under a million jobs offered. So, you have to know how to play the game; keep the cards close to your chest and don't overspend.

What a copout.  **Edited for Community Guidelines** Any organization can always improve and treat the people who depend on it better.  The idea that the proper response to any criticism is "It's a business and all that matters is the bottom-line" is inane **Edited for Community Guidelines**  Yes, Upwork is a business that intends to make money.  That hardly justified any and any act.  Again, attacking the freelancers with legitimate complaints is not a good look...

I wasn't attacking anyone - unlike you. You have signed up for this "extremist libertarian capitalism"  -  and you are (now) doing well on it. So if you feel so strongly about the poor underlings, I suggest you put your money where your mouth is.

So, Brian, what would you recommend that Upwork do to stop losing money?
