I already verified my account incl. video call and all, 2 or 3 years ago. Why should I need to verify again and not automatically receive the badge?

You will need to reverify again, especially if you've been gone for a few years.

And no one automatically gets badges. You have to earn them.

I didn't say I was gone .... as in inactive. Au contraire. I have been active all this time. I have to "earn" the badge?

Unfortunately customer care are extremely hard to get by these days (despite the growing fees Smiley Wink ), I'll give it a go though.

Inactive for 2 or 3 years. That's gone for 2 or 3 years, yes?


I'm not sure where you see that I was inactive for 2 or 3 years. I said I
verified the account 2 or 3 years ago. Hence the question why I should have
to do it again just because Upwork decided to introduce a badge. They
should just put that badge on every account that has already been verified
by the same means they require now Smiley Happy
