I responded to your recent comment on the same subject posted on a different thread and wanted to confirm we've already shared information before about the different verification procedures we have on Upwork, their goals and how related requests are processed separately.
I didn't say I was gone .... as in inactive. Au contraire. I have been active all this time. I have to "earn" the badge?
Unfortunately customer care are extremely hard to get by these days (despite the growing fees ), I'll give it a go though.
You still have verify. Click the link in the email or message you received
and they'll take it from there.

I'm not sure where you see that I was inactive for 2 or 3 years. I said I
verified the account 2 or 3 years ago. Hence the question why I should have
to do it again just because Upwork decided to introduce a badge. They
should just put that badge on every account that has already been verified
by the same means they require now
