We’ve made two updates to attachments for proposals:
Previously attachments were limited to 5MB each, we’ve increased the attachment size limit for proposals to 25MB each (maximum 10 files). We also changed the uploading process allowing you to now drag and drop multiple files at once, instead of uploading them one by one.
This is now available on our Android App as well. Freelancers can add up to ten attachments of 25MB each to their proposals through the app and multiple attachments can be selected and added at once. You’ll be able to access this functionality by tapping on the “Add attachment” button at the bottom of the cover letter screen.
*As a reminder, this is already available on our iOS Upwork app.
We hope you enjoy, and will continue to listen to your feedback on how we can better improve our proposals experience.

This is awesome. But also: The most successful freelancers know how to use FTP and Dropbox, which are not difficult to use.
And you wouldn't imagine how much the most successful freelancers also love the simplicity of dragging & dropping Word and Excel documents.
