Testing video chat profile verification

Hello! I've not used upwork in a couple of years and apparently things have changed significantly while I've been gone. I've been looking for a way to do this new videov verification step, but everytime I click the link on my landing page, it sends me to the Help Center and there's nothing to show me what to do. Apparently, I recieved an email at some point, but being that I haven't used upwork in quite a while, that email is probably long gone.

 

Is there a way I can get myself validated so I can get back to using the platform? Thanks!

I have had this issue repeatedly.  I reached out to customer service and they reply again and again with basic instructions for how to make sure my browser can play Flash, isn't blocking pop-ups, etc.  I follow their instructions and the link still doesn't work (I get sent to the Help Center like Jose C above).  I've tried accessing it on different browsers and on different computers.  No luck.

 

Meanwhile it's been two weeks and I still can't send proposals.  This is beyond frustrating.  I get an email, I then follow instructions which don't solve the problem, and then I send a reply to CS.  It takes a day or more for a response.  Why is there no way to call or live chat?  It's like they deliberately don't want to help.  I look forward to Upwork's new customer service initiative: carrier pigeon.

That happened to me also. The customer support just send me the basic instructions, that wont work!

 

I cannot send any proposals! Please help!
