Update to Freelancer Profile Layouts

Hi everyone,

As we continue to look for ways to improve a freelancer’s ability to market themselves better to clients through their Upwork profiles, we have made two new layout changes to freelancer profiles.

Because details about earnings and the number of jobs worked are important to both freelancers and clients, we decided to move these from the right column and display them more prominently under your overview.

Additionally, we’ve moved “Skills” to its own section to better highlight this information.

These changes will be rolled out in the coming weeks. Let us know if you have any feedback.

Could you post another sample where we can see the whole profile as it actually displays? (Sure not he whole feedback section, but a little of it.)

Sorry, my few miserable neurons are not enough to imagine the whole picture :-)

Are you showing exact earnings now --> $32,000 ?

No more ranges?

Lena, for what it's worth, I prefer the way skills are displayed now. It seems to me it takes up too much space in the new layout, and de-emphasizes Work History/Feedback, which I think is more important and unique compared to skills that are shared with great many freelancers.

I second John on this.

John is absolutely correct. Clients need to see SKILLS first and foremost.

This needs to be reevaluated as a proper business model. It will hurt everyone - clients, FLers, and U's income.

Agree with John, Wendy, and Rene. Skills should be at the top.

Ela,

Earnings will display in ranges, the same way as they are displayed now. Only the position of that information will be moved.

Rene,

Are you able to see Ela's skills under her Work History?

Actually I can see them but under her portfolio, just before the tests.
