I’m Mike and I’m part of Upwork’s Talent Success team. Our team hosts Upwork’s numerous webinars and events. On June 17th, 2021, we hosted an Upwork Expert Talk for talent in the Customer Service & Admin Support category: “Increase Your Income by Showing Clients the Real You.” We created this thread to continue the conversation. 

 

In this Expert Talk, we discussed how to identify what makes you unique and describe it effectively so that potential clients will understand what's special about your services:

  • Understand your identity and where it comes from 
  • Use your unique identity to discover what your brand is 
  • Define what you do and find out how to establish yourself as an expert
