Appointment Setter Phone

I was referred to Upwork to hire appointment setters in Philippines for our products and services. If I hire someone in the Philippines, how will they call within the US? Would the freelancer supply their own VOIP phone/dialer or would I be expected to provide for them?  I have a VOIP system that may work overseas (I'm checking with my provider) but I don't have any experience working with dialers. Thank you, Dan

Dan:

It depends on who you hire.

Lots of Philippines-based freelance customer support representatives ALREADY HAVE all the equipment, software and accounts necessary in order to make U.S.-based calls.

Others might need you to provide that for them.

You can hire technical specialists who can set up systems for you that your freelance call representatives will use.

You can hire consultants who will help you to make the best decisions for your business about how to set up systems, software, hardware, accounts, etc. for making such calls.

I know that many business owners use MagicJack so that overseas freelancers can do U.S.-based calling. (Using MagicJack is how my relatives in Japan call my family here for free.) But that is only one option, of many.
