As the client, can I log manual time for my freelancer?

As the client, can I log manual time for my freelancer? I don't want to enable manual time just yet.

Dan, not sure if you can do that, but why not just pay the freelancer a bonus to cover the hours of manual time, unless the freelancer insists on hourly payment?

Two reasons:

1. They were in front of their computer - some of the time was captured, so I would have to go do the math and back in the fhourly rate etc. Not a big deal but prone to error
2. I would need to provide a reason for the bonus to accounting - more paper-pushing

Hi Dan,

Unfortunately no, only the freelancer can log time either manually or using Upwork App. You can, however, set a weekly limit and you won't be charged for any time the freelancer logs over that limit.
