Asking clients!!! who do you usually hire, at what point do you stop scrilling and choose one freela

Hey dear clients!

There are usually at least 20 - 50 proposals on our job postings,. So with that bieng said at what point do you start scrolling and say "this one is good enough" do you look through EVERY proposal, or maybe only the the first 5 - 10?

It's when they view a freelancer's profile.

Is the Profile clear and have great Reviews?

I wonder what clients really look out for. Its almost a month since I joined Upwork. I have carefully searched for best fit jobs and submitted profesionally written proposals having carefully learned from articles and videos of  top successful freelancers. I have not even received a single view of any of my proposals submitted. Having boosted many of these submitted proposals because I know I am new and need that to be seen at the top, I am getting disappointed and wondering whether this whole thing isn't some joke. Being a new freelancer on this platform seem to be a disease. I am not giving up yet though.

Even as an existing freelancer, it's almost impossible to get a job, even after working hard to achieve the top-rated badge and receiving only good reviews. It's exhausting.

Its truly exhausting, Upwork has gotten VERY bad, recentley, if they lowered the cost of connects, and the amount of connects needed, then that would make it easyer to apply more, and have a lower cost of entry.

That is the right mindset to have, its odd, but In my first month I got two jobs, but now I cant find one, even ones that seem PERFECT for me!!!
