Best GBP to USD exchange facility for Upwork payments

Hi

I’ve been using PayPal for paying my Upwork invoices - this means the GBP amount that comes out of my bank account is the USD exchange rate PayPal charge.

I would love to hear which approved/facility service people have found to provide the best GBP to USD to pay Upwork invoices

I use Payoneer. They provide you with a debit card, the spread(what they charge vs the actual exchange rate) between the xe.com listed rate and their own exchange rate is roughly $0.03NZD at present.($1USD = $1.50USD).

So, with 1GBP being $1.97NZD, I gather the spread is probably around 1.5p

Payoneer also allows direct payment to overseas bank accounts. It's super easy to use and their systems are robust.

The OP is a client  and talking about ways to PAY.

Your withdrawal preferences are completely irrelevant to him and Payoneer could not be used to pay Upwork anyway.
