Can my Project Manager log in to my client account?

I have hired a Project Manager (not on UpWork - a friend), and I would like her to log in to my profile to manage liaise with my freelancers.

Is this against UpWork terms?

Thanks!

Stephen:
It is a serious violation of Upwork ToS for anybody to log in to another person's account.

So the short answer is: Yes.

However, Upwork DOES PROVIDE proper ways to delegate authority like you want to do.

Hi Stephen,

You're correct, the process you're using is not in line with Upwork ToS. Please note that in order to collaborate and help manage your contracts, your project manager would need to create an upwork account first, so you could add them to your team and assign them the admin or hiring manager role. Please check this Help article for more information and let us know if you have any questions.
