Cannot deposit fee for fixed-price project

I'm trying to hire an editor through Upwork, but the total balance of the deposit I'm trying to transfer remains 0.-. The balance summary displays the amount I entered, but the total doesn't reflect this. So if I were to confirm the amount through Mastercard with my bank, I'd be confirming 0.- USD.

What am I doing wrong?
