Client closed the job

Hi, I make a proposal for a customer I got interviewed and we share some options, however, he just closes the job saying "we are not sure what we are looking for, is over us, can you help us find the right one?" So my question is what happened with those connects, are these sent back to me?

If a job post is closed without hiring any freelancer, connects will be given back to the freelancer. 

So check that job post again either that job is closed without hiring or not. If it has been closed without hiring, you will have gotten your connects back.
