The process is officially called "arbitration."
It is what happens after a dispute.
If the dispute can not move the two parties to resolve their differences.
You DO NOT WANT to use disputes or arbitration. These always represent a failure in the process.
But these "tools" are available in Upwork.
If you actually go to arbitration, it will cost you $291, and you will not get that money back, regardless of who wins.
But if the client declines to go to arbitration, you will not need to pay the fee, and you will win by default.
