Contact Freelancer Who Declined Proposal

Hello, I recently invited a freelancer to speak with me regarding a job that I posted (I sent them a proposal).  That freelancer declined the proposal, saying: "I see that you've already hired another freelancer, but I do feel I'd be a good fit for the position and I'd be happy to speak with you in the future, if you need."  The freelancer is correct that I had hired another freelancer, but my intention was to hire multiple freelancers and I believe I set up the job posting that way.  

I would like to contact the freelancer to clarify that I'd still like to speak with him, but Upwork does not seem to give me an option to do that.  Is there any way to contact the freelancer at this point?

Hi Ryan,

As the freelancer declined the invitation, you can't invite them for that same job post. But you should have no issues inviting them for a different one. Let us know if you need further help.
