Differences between Client Reviews And Freelancer Reviews.

A freelancer's JSS is reflected by private feedback from clients, and not the public ratings clients give.

However, a client's rating is reflected by the public rating freelancers give them, and not by the private feedback freelancers give them.

This, in turn, sometimes gives us low-quality clients with very high ratings, because like it or not, a lot of freelancers are afraid of backlashes from giving bad clients a low public rating. It's only fair that all clients' ratings should be changed to reflect the private feedback freelancers give them, as well, instead of just using public ratings.

What are your thoughts on this?

Hey Wei, I didn't know the above. I thought it was the same for both Freelancers and Clients. Customer Support what do you say? Thanks!

Hi Wei,

Thank you for your message. We don’t have a public version of a client Job Success score developed at this time, but it may be something we explore in the future. However, we do contact or close the accounts of clients who have had a poor track record of collaboration with freelancers.

Thank you,

Pradeep
