Does Paypal charge 3.49% for each payment I made from Paypal to Upwork?

Hi,

I'm new to upwork. Each time I used paypal to send money to merchant, I was charged a paypal fee. If I want to hire some freelancer on upwork, do I need to pay this fee to paypal for each transaction?

yes,probably yes.you're hiring clients and freelancers so they do have to get paid for that.

It largely depends on where you are paying from, I mean your country. I honestly pay nothing extra to anyone when use Paypal to pay for anything on upwork.

Paypal is charing me with a mere $2 per transcation/transfer.
