English speaking test

I thought upwork had an english speaking excercise for candidates, I dont see it anymore or maybe I was mistaken.

Does anyone know if this exists or is there a function you have for having them read a paragraph for you in the application process?

I have been a freelancer on Upwork since 2019, and there was no English test when I joined. It is up to the clients to decide if the FL speaks/writes on an acceptable level for the project.

At the beginning there used to be a raft of tests you could do for pretty well every category, but Upwork ceased having them as cheating became endemic and they lost their value.
