We are experiencing the same issue and we are unable to pay our contractor for the 1st installment of the work he has done. Please let me know what can be done.
Today I have sent to my Client the files for approve. But she says: "I am trying to review what you sent me but there is an error in UpWork and it' won't allow me to review the files. it won't allow me to review the work and submit payment."
I resubmitted files through the milestone again several times, but my client sees an error every time.

I'm on a deadline and can't wait until next week to pay my freelancer or receive my art. Was using this as a test-run of Upwork and needless to say this is a problem. Is this grounds to pay the freelancer directly outside of Upwork without effecting the terms of service?
