Excessive number of fake jobs

In recent weeks, I have seen a ridiculous amount of fake jobs.

Normally, there are less than 10 jobs related to my criteria every day. 

Now, 10 jobs appear every hour: they are the same: new account, account with no hire,  canned post, wrong description, wrong skills,... and they never hire

I have a feeling of navigating through a desert. Is this an organized attack from someone targeting Upwork to downgrade the quality of this website?
