There is no way to change the due date on a fixed-price contract or milestone.
That is essentially just a text string stored and displayed for reference purposes.
You DO NOT NEED to "extend" this date. As long as the freelancer and client agree about when tasks need to be completed, that is all that matters.
Upwork DOES NOT use the displayed due date for any internal metrics. Upwork ignores that date.
