If my freelancer needs more time and I have funded the job and it is due today how can I extend the time?

The due date is purely as a reference point between freelancer and client. It doesn't "do" anything, so just ignore it.

All that matters is that the client and the freelancer are in agreement and on the same page.

Hi Jocelyne,

Petra is correct, Milestone dates are used only for reference and don't affect the contract or the users reputation. Just make sure you're in agreement with your freelancer regarding the delivery of the complete work and the job's dynamic.
