Fixed price contract expired. How do I pay my freelancer?

I have a fixed contract that due to the client taking a long time to respond, has expired. The money in escrow is going to be refunded to me in a few days but I want to either extend the contract or pay the freelancer. How can I do either? Freelancer has 4 days left to approve the escrow refund account.

I checked and it looks like you have a number of contracts open at the moment. Could you please share the Contract ID you need help with so we could check and assist you accordingly?

Hi Keith,

Thank you for following up! It looks like the Escrow funds were already returned to your payment method. If you'd like to pay your freelancer within the same contract you can do so by clicking on the (...) options menu and sending a bonus. You could also rehire them for a new contract of the same value, the Rehire button is right next to the (...) options menu in the contract room.
