Freelancer Bittu Boss cancel after a month

Our Freelancer took a month for a project - keep asking for extantions which we gave, kept reassuring us that he has great results and than day after deadline cancelled the project. 

Waisted lots of our time and efforts as we tried to help generationg database etc.
