I the client had opened the dispute because I did not need the job anymore but would like to revoke this dispute after coming to a mutual agreement with the freelancer to continue the job. How would I do this?
Why do you assume the job has been done? "I no longer need the job doing" is because the freelancer did not provide me with any work and expected me to say the steps of fulfilling my requirements and no progress in work (which is what I paid him to do not my job).
Sorry Jackie, I wasn't assuming anything, I just mentioned it in case.
If you really want to cancel the dispute then contact support as suggested by Jennifer. But don't cancel it until you have the work you funded the milestone for or the money is released to the freelancer and you can not re-open a closed dispute.
So unless you actually HAVE something leave the dispute open!
