I've gotten several messages this week that I misseed because I don't get any notification whatesover. Nothing on my phone. No e-mails. Nothing on the desktop client. Absolutely nothing! I double-checked all of my settings and I don't see anything wrong. What can I possibly do?

Well, now that I've looked at my messages, everything is firing on all cylinders. However, I didn't change any settings. I guess messaging on upwork simply cannot be relied upon. That's good to know.

Unfortunately we don't have this option at the moment. But you can also set up an RSS feed if it's a fit for you and receive automatic updates in a third-party feed reader. Thank you.

I have the same problem, i checked my settings and email, but i didn't get the message from the client that was urgent.
I am afraid that this will affect my work. Could you please check it and try to find the solution.

Could you please confirm where you haven't received any notifications about your client messages? Could you also confirm if you have received any email notifications about the messages you`ve received? Thank you.

This seems to be a recurring problem. I missed out on opportunitites because I didn't receive any kind of notification. How can this be reported so it's actually looked in to?

Is there a way to report that notifications aren't working? I had 2 people message me this week that I didn't receive any sort of notification for. Not on email, not on the app, not on desktop, not even on the website, had I not clicked into messages I would never have known. This is a major issue. I pay for the connections and the leads, the least that I can expect is to be notified when someone is interested in scheduling an interview so I don't have to discover it 2 days later when I just happen to log in and check messages.

I have had this issue for multiple years. The little icon doesn't show up when I receive a new message.
How many Upwork windows do you have open? If I recall, I think this causes some type of problem where the little icon won't populate.

I am also having this problem. Setting are correct and I get other emails from Upwork but I do not get notifications of new messages in either of my accounts and sometimes I don't get notifications when I am invited to a job.
