I cannot Log in to my existing account. Forced to use Google Sign-In

Hello, I have been trying to log into my department's marketing account on Upwork but when I do I am forced to sign in with Goole. When I do, an error message is thrown saying "You have not activated the Google sign in method for this account. Please choose another sign in method for this email address." It looks like the only way to fix this is from inside of my Upwork account, which I cannot access due to this log in problem. Can you help me log in?
