I'm pretty sure my dev is using an auto-clicker

There are over 10 hours in the past couple weeks of screenshots with almost the exact same amount of clicks.

He gets a lot of work done at the beginning of every session and then at the end. But in the middle there's always 2-4 hours of this...

You could certainly ask him about this.

If he is up to shenanigans, then maybe simply asking him about it will get him to stop.

Also:

Compare his productivity to that of other team members.

If you have six people on this team, and he is the BEST and MOST PRODUCTIVE...

Then you may want to leave well enough alone.

If he is at the BOTTOM, then fire him regardless of what his work dairy shows.

Hi Alex,

Please know you can pause the contract at any time to prevent the freelancer from logging any more hours. You may consider communicating with your freelancer and request they remove any hours that you don't agree with from the Work Diary.

On our end, we want to make sure you only pay for the hours that are spent working on your project. If you feel that you have been billed for more time than they worked on your project, you can dispute the freelancer's hours. Learn all about it here.
