I thought I needed to pay my freelancer manually after closing the job, so I paid his time amount as a bonus. I didn't know it would be automatically charged to my card on file.

I've gone through the infinite loop of support and been unable to find an actual support line for Upwork. It's all bots and threads. Can someone point me in the right direction?

You don't need Support.

Just ask the freelancer to issue a refund for the overpayment.
