I want to close / delete my account at upwork.com. Can someone help?

I opened the account coz of my previous job. Now that I have quitted the job, I do not need the upwork account anymore. Can someone help me close it?

 Go to your settings page

 

Click on Close this account (bottom of the page.)

Make sure there are no open issues, no hired freelancers / open applications / job posts etc.

There's some magic button somehwere, not entirely sure where it is, but you're probably best getting in with support... they'll be able to tell you where it is, or take care of it for you.

The "Close the Account" link does not appear in my "settings".

It is right at the very bottom of the Settings page.
