Hello,
Im new on Upwork and i would like to know how it works in terms of invoicing? If i hire someone, will i get an invoice? If so, it is generated by you or the freelancer? How does it work? We need to know so we can understand how it would affect our company´s accounts if we hire regularly on the platform.

Hi Marc,
You can check this help article, for more information about invoices available to you through Upwork and the information included in them.
Thank you!

You should talk to the freelancer you intend to hire and clarify the details you're interested on.
You're NOT buying anything from Upwork. You will be receiving invoices from the freelancer, which means the "Seller" will be either a person or a company. Ideally the freelancer acts as a company - and that company actually exists. You'll have to ask various questions depending on your (and the freelancer's) location. But remember: Upwork is not the "Seller" on the invoice.
