Money in escrow

Hi, we just ended a contract with a freelancer which was on a "milestone" basis. We released more funds in escrow than what we needed. We ended the contract successfully but are unable to withdraw the remaining funds that we have. How can we do that?

If you close a contract with a freelancer, then any remaining escrow money that was not released to the freelancer will automatically be returned to the funding source of the client.

If you released more money to the freelancer than was necessary, the freelancer can simply issue a refund to you.

Hi Preston, thank you for the prompt reply! How soon before we can see and access those remaining funds? Since at the moment the funds show on the ended contract as "Remaining".
