My Client is not mostly active on Upwork. Can I ask another medium of contact?

Hello Upwork Community, 

I've been working with a client for more than month. Everything is going great. The only problem is he's mostly non-active on Upwork. Can i ask him for another medium of communication where he's active. 

Note: Contract is already running.

Yes.

Upwork allows freelancers to ask clients for other ways to contact them.

Upwork allows you to use ANY method of communication that you want to use with a client, as long as you have already been hired using an official Upwork contract.

Be polite about this. Clients aren't required to provide you with any additional contact information.

Keep in mind this rule:

If you don't ask the client, but instead do a search using information you know about him, and find a way to contact him, it is a violation of Upwork ToS to contact him that way. You may ask, and receive. You may not "Google search and then contact."
