Hi everyone i'm new to up work,

I want some advise on what to do with our website and require suggestions?

Would you post this as the inital job and then once feedback is received post as individual jobs?

I know we need to make our website mobile/tablet friendly and sort out the SEO.

Any advise would be greatfully recieved our current website provider does not seem intrested in helping.

Thanks Holly.

You can split the job into multiple milestones (e.g. one for making the website responsive - mobile friendly, one for SEO updates etc.). If you're happy with the first milestone, you could proceed with the remaining ones. Otherwise you can post a different job for the remaining tasks, and find a new contractor.

I'm not certain this was what you were looking for, but I hope it helps.

If you're new to this site, start with a small job to get the hang of things.

"Small" as in short duration; and a smaller budget.

That way, if things go wrong, you did not risk a lot (time and money).

Note the differences, requirements and responsibilites of "fixed amount" versus "hourly" jobs.

It takes skill to manage bigger and longer term projects (demanding quality; witholding payment when necessary; milestone negotiations; etc.)
