Hello,
I'm hiring manager on my contracts. How can I see weekly report? When I try I get "need additional reports". We don't need more reports, the basic is fine for our needs.
How I can check weekly report? Please help.
Thank you

Hi Natasha,
I've checked with our team and we're phasing out reporting option for clients on Basic membership plan gradually, that's why you can still see the inactive navigation tabs that will be removed soon. Thanks again for sharing your experience in the Community.

Hi Natasha,
Unfortunately, the Weekly Summary tab is not available on the basic plan and it is available on our Plus plan. To learn more about our Plus plan check out this Help Article, thank you.

Goran, it would make sense to explain to clients HOW THEY CAN SEE WEEKLY HOURS billed rather than brushing them off with what amounts to 'give us more money'. I understand accessing all weekly billing for approval is more time-consuming now, but give buyers the courtesy of writing out the needed steps.

Hi Natasha and Wendy,
Just to follow up and clarify. I was referring to the Weekly Summary that is a financial reporting tool and available to clients on our plus plan only.
Natasha if you were referring to the Work Diary you can still access it even on our basic plan directly from your contract rooms. Here you will be able to view the time your freelancers have worked.
If you have any additional questions let me know, thank you.

Hello,
We have always had access to this page for the management of our freelancers. It is one of the tools that allows us to manage all the people to whom we give work via your platform.
I find it outrageous to charge for access to this page after so many years. You know that statistically it is the tool that is used on a massive scale.
We have between 100 and 200 hours of freelancers to manage and analyze each week, without this page we find ourselves in a situation where we are obliged to pay your subscription.
I don't like to be faced with a fait accompli like this, so we will put the energy into changing the platform for managing our freelancers.

I'm glad to see how Upwork's team take time to answer and to explain things to their unsatisfied costumers.

Hello Goran,
I was also referring to the weekly summary. Like I said, I can now see it.

Freelancers may come and go - but deliberately chasing away clients seems a bit foolhardy to me.
Just sayin' ...

After I clicked on dismiss several times I can now see weekly summany. Also, the articles is not saying anything about weekly summary.

I agree, I have spent probably 100k plus to freelancers over the years. On upwork! I can't believe upwork would disable reports we use to manage our freelancers. This is making my job harder. I don't have the complete picture anymore unless I pay this additional fees. That makes it harder to hire more talent. It's very sad to see upwork take such a foolish decision.

Thank you for your feedback Donny, I will share it with our product managers.

please let him know, that he is chasing away clients/customers. This is a bad decision for upwork.

Wow so ridiculous that it's so hard to see a basic weekly spend broken down by a freelancer.
This is basic accounting and reporting and the fact that you only get this with a monthly membership, even though we are already paying service charges on each freelancer is pretty outrageous.
I can't think of any other service we use in the business that charges us just to get a simple break down of what we are spending weekly broken down by freelancer being used. Not just a weekly total, I don't need your report to see my weekly total, I can just check my online business banking to see how much you withdrew on Monday.

Hi Henry,
Please note that as part of the Basic plan you still have access to several reports.
Among them is a Weekly Summary email and the account admins will get this weekly email report, which includes a week-by-week break down of your spending.
Thank you!

Bojan, How do we receive this weekly summary by mail with basic plan?
Dec 16, 2019 10:09:02 AM by Henry C
He is talking about the summary email that comes in after you get billed on Mondays.
It is not on-demand it gets sent in with the receipt and invoice that you get on Mondays.
Though that is a simple thing to include in the upwork dashboard to be able to look at how much im spending week by week across my freelancers.
Heck my meal delivery company gives me a break down week by week depending on how many meals I am receiving, I can go back and forward in weeks and see my expenses, but yet for hiring and managing freelancers I can't.....
Doesn't make sense at all.
Just forcing people to upgrade to a monthly billing plan for basic tools.
