Need advice on "pausing" a job posting (not a contract)

Hi,

I work on Upwork as both a Freelancer and a Client.  Yesterday I posted a job as a Client, and got 2 proposals.  I have not interviewed anyone nor have I made an offer or entered into a contract.

This afternoon I learned that I need to Pause that job offer for a month (it's been pushed off by the person who hired me).  Should I simply cancel it and repost in a month?  Is there a way to Pause a job offer?  Will that hurt my standing as a Client?

You can easily "pause" a job posting.

Just change the job posting's status to "private" or "invite only".

That way the posting is still up, unchanged, but nobody can see it unless you specifically invite a freelancer to apply to it.

Thanks Preston!  I'll do just that.
