Need to contact support to verify my credit card but it doesn't give an option to contact support

Hello!

I want to hire a freelance and need help with the payment method.

 

When I went to "hire" and added the company's mastercard which is on my boss's name to the billing method, it got rejected. So I tried paying with my personal credit card and it worked.

 

I would like to know if the problem is that the name on the card does not match my profile name? If so, how could we introduce the company's credit card so that I don't have to pay freelances with my own personal card?

It is my first time to hire a freelancer. I have added a credit card and PayPal as payment methods. But the freelancer I want to hire says my payment method hasn't been verified. 

 

Is it possible that there is a delay in online payment verified status?

Hi Manman, 


I checked your account and can see that your billing method has already been verified. You may ask the freelancer to hit the refresh button on his browser, or log off, and log back in on his account to see if it updates on his end.

I'm actually having the same problem. I've gone through the verification process, but freelancers still see me as being unverified.  I asked them to log out and log back in and still showing as unverified. Please Help!

My problem has been solved. On the second day, the freelancer said my payment has been verified.

Perhaps wait for two or three hours, can solve your problem too.

I checked your account and it doesn't look like you have added any billing method on your account yet. You may read this help article for more information about the different billing methods available on Upwork. 

 

When you add your credit card as a billing method, you may be needed to verify it. This help article shares more information on how to verify your credit card.
