Not getting reply from Freelancer

I sent a message about 90 minutes ago to my freelancer. I have not received a reply yet. Is upwork platform down?

Sometimes communication through Upwork IS unreliable.

That does not mean that is happening now. 90 minutes ago? Maybe the freelancer is watching a movie. Or sleeping.

My recommendation is to stop relying on Upwork for communication with freelancers you have hired. Use more reliable methods such as email, text message, Slack, etc.

Looks like it was a temporary server issue or technical glitch. Just now received reply. And the system shows the "Status" too.
