ONE budget, several freelancers

when postin a job, you can set a fixed price budget (e.g. $400).

I need to hire 2 freelancers for this job.

does the budget set the TOTAL BUDGET for both, or the BUDGET PER FREELANCER?

if I set my fixed price budget at $400, is that $400 PER freelancer or $200 per freelancer?

many thanks for your kind help!

I appreciate it.

I think you can either include a price per freelancer or a total budget. Just explain the amount in your job description.

As a freelancer, I read it as the budget per freelancer.

Also remember that the budget you type into that box does not actually "set" anything.

It is just something that is displayed on the job posting.

Freelancers can put in any kind of budget number they want. And you can decide together on a final budget before making a final contract agreement.

If you plan to hire two people, maybe you should hire one using a fixed-price contract and the other using an hourly contract, to give you a chance to contrast the two contract models and see what works best for you and your needs.
