Payment not going through

Hello,

I am working with a freelancer on a project. When I gave him a bonus, he received the payment. However, he did not receive any payments for the hours he worked. The funds were debited from my PayPal account, so I’m unsure why he has not received it. Any help in this matter would be great!

Saisano, this freelancer is simply not aware of where to look.

You are a kind person. But you do not need to help the freelancer any further. He has been paid.

Hi Saisano,

 

For hourly contracts, freelancers get paid following the Weekly Billing Cycle. When working hourly contracts, all time logged in the Work Diary by the freelancer is automatically invoiced to you as the client using the schedule below.

 

  • Week 1 – Freelancer logs time using the Upwork desktop app and Work Diary.
  • Week 2 – Hours within the weekly limit invoice to your clients on Monday. They have until Friday to review the work. Then the review period ends.
  • Week 3 – Earnings become available on the following Wednesday.
